Comfort Amenities
Your comfort is very important to us
Patient comfort is a top priority for the entire team at Canton Dental. We pamper you; treating you like family and making sure that you are comfortable and relaxed throughout your entire visit. We want you to feel at ease about your dental treatment and be confident that you are in good hands.
Dr. Goch is very caring and gentle in his approach and does everything possible to make your dental procedure comfortable and pain-free. He is easy to talk to and will explain your treatment in detail ahead of time while answering any questions you may have.
Gentle, pain-free treatment
Dr. Goch and his team firmly believe in open communication with you during all procedures to ensure that you are free from pain.
To minimize any discomfort when administering injections, Dr. Goch begins by applying a topical solution to the area and waits a few moments for it to take effect. Dr. Goch uses a special anesthesia that doesn’t produce a stinging sensation, and very slowly releases the medication. Taking this extra time greatly reduces any discomfort or painful sensation.
If you are currently experiencing pain due to a dental issue, Dr. Goch will quickly identify the problem and provide a solution for relieving your pain, as well as for treating the issue. In cases where an infection is present, you will be given antibiotics.
Our Comfort Amenities
We offer many comfort amenities to help put you at ease during your dental procedure. Our lobby is comfy and pleasant, with an inviting atmosphere. During treatment, you will be offered a warm blanket, a pillow, protective glasses and a personal fan. You can also listen to music or watch television or a movie.
We even have stuffed animals for children to play with! Our team always takes care to ensure that you are relaxed and comfortable.
Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide
To alleviate any anxiety or fear about your dental treatment, we offer oral sedation and nitrous oxide upon request.
Oral sedation will relax you and you may even doze lightly during your treatment. You may be woken at any time, and many patients feel as though they’ve taken a relaxing nap.
Another option for calming your anxiety is nitrous oxide. As with oral sedation, you are still conscious and can talk with Dr. Goch and our team.
The dose can be adjusted quickly per demand, either up or down, so that your treatment is perfectly personalized for you. Recovery time is quick and you can drive yourself home after your procedure.
